This is a faucet equipped with an additional hose and a small spray head that allows for intimate hygiene without a separate bidet. Besides its main purpose, a hygienic shower can also be used for cleaning the toilet, rinsing a cat litter box, or filling buckets. It’s a compact and budget-friendly alternative to a traditional bidet, especially suitable for small bathrooms.
First, turn on the faucet and adjust the water to a comfortable temperature. The water flow to the spray head is controlled by a button or lever on the handle. After use, always turn off the faucet — the spray valve is not designed to withstand constant pressure. Then release any remaining pressure by pointing the spray into the toilet and pressing the button.
The recommended installation height for the faucet is 80–85 cm from the floor. The holder for the spray head is usually placed at the same height or slightly lower, depending on the users’ height and the position of the toilet. For concealed installation, all plumbing is built into the wall during renovation; with exposed installation, it can be installed even without major repairs.
A hygienic shower is a compact alternative to a bidet and works well in small bathrooms. It provides a sufficient level of hygiene without taking up extra space.
